Is Ashes of the Colony free to play?
Yes. Optional cosmetics and character slots are sold in the shop; nothing changes combat stats.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in a modern web browser on desktop, tablet and phone.
Is it really an MMORPG?
It is being built as one. A dedicated multiplayer server works in testing but is not yet public, so today you play solo. See news.
Is my progress saved?
Not in the training grounds. Online characters tied to your account are saved by the server.
How many classes are there?
Three: Knight, Archer and Sorcerer. Compare them on the classes page.
Is there PvP, guilds or trading?
Not yet. These are not implemented and have no release date.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — touch controls with an on-screen joystick are built in.
How do I delete my account or data?
